Rink Closure Update

No doubt you are all well aware of the Prime Minister’s announcement today.  As a result the rink is now closed to all members effective immediately, until further notice.
We hope you all stay safe and well during this unusual, stressful time.  Keep an eye on our Facebook page, we aim to share ideas of things you could do to support a return to skating when we come out the other side of this.
Ka kite ano.

Kind regards
UHRSC committee

Central Area Championship

SkateNZ have been in touch with all clubs to advise that all Area Championships have been cancelled as a result of the Government announcement.  Nationals is still 3 months away and the Board will be reviewing whether or not this event goes ahead on a weekly basis.  We will let you know as soon as we hear anything.

Important immediate rink closures

Due to the escalating Covid 19 pandemic, the Upper Hutt Roller Skating Club has decided to take the following steps, effective immediately:
1. All public sessions will be cancelled, this includes Saturday discos, weekday holiday discos, the upcoming special night disco and any public bookings.

2. Tuesday and Saturday Patch classes are cancelled for the remainder of term 1.  We will make a decision in the coming school holidays about whether or not patch will resume in term 2.

As the situation is constantly changing, the committee will review these decisions on a regular basis over the next few weeks.  If there are any changes, we will let you know as soon as possible.

Regards
UHRSC committee
